Theory
After reading half of the first chapter, I am further confirmed in my theory that if you read Desiring God, you have already read just about every John Piper book. (Not to say it's bad, but there's obviously repetition).

Mark,
I've only read one Piper book in entirety (Pleasures of God), but I've found LTNBG to be very familiar stuff. Of course, I've listened to hours upon hours of his sermons and read material from Desiring God Online. I think that the stuff he wrote on his recent sabbatical will be fresh. We'll see.
